HASCO enables efficient design with controllable 3D models

Optimisation of the design process is a key issue in modern mouldmaking. With the dynamic CAD data from HASCO, designers can effectively reduce the amount of work involved. The special standard mould units are noted for their high adaptability and enable not only the number of work-steps to be reduced to a minimum but also make the design cost-efficient. This saves not only internal resources but also guarantees fault-free installation.

The models offer maximum variability, so that optimum installation spaces for individual customer applications can be found. Designers know the situation when an O‑ring is to be used and it is necessary to search up front in the producers’ data for the required installation dimensions. With HASCO’s CAD data, this time-consuming search is not necessary and the entire process is speeded up considerably. HASCO offers, for all O‑rings, flexible selection criteria according to the loading/sealing in the subsequent installation. Customers can choose between the axial loading type, in which the load runs along the axis, and the radial type, which is especially suitable for the sealing of shafts.

Dynamic CAD solution

Another focus of attention is on the new versions of some products in the demoulding segment. The new dynamic CAD data for the two-stage ejector Z169 allow designers to adapt projects individually with just a few clicks.

For the many different applications covered by a two-stage ejector, it is necessary to individually adapt the standard parts. With the Z169, for example, an additional flange Z167 can also be selected to match the type of connection to the platen. The stroke is created by making a change to the standard part, specifically via the interplay of the nut with the clamping socket.

Through HASCO’s dynamic CAD solution, the adjustment to the specific structure is made considerably easier and can furthermore be automated with the help of selection menus, in which the user can select his desired strokes and preferences.

High levels of detail

Specifically with project presentations of design proposals or the creation of animations, it is important that the mould construction has a high degree of detail. This is guaranteed by HASCO’s 3D models, in which the preview – including the installation spaces – can be called up online on the website: That is a further advantage that ensures the safe and reliable use of the right product.
