ICEYE has formally established ICEYE India, with operations based in New Delhi, marking an expansion of the company’s presence in India’s defence and space sectors. The immediate focus of ICEYE India will be to support Indian defence and intelligence customers with advanced intelligence capabilities and solutions aimed at strengthening national security and resilience. The company will also engage with India’s wider space and defence ecosystem through supply-chain participation, technology validation and local capability development.
ICEYE India will also serve as the platform for the company’s planned manufacturing activities in the country. ICEYE intends to establish production capabilities in India to address defence, surveillance and environmental monitoring requirements.
The planned manufacturing operations will focus on local sourcing, Indian suppliers and local engineering talent, supporting the development of domestic capabilities in space-based intelligence and related technologies.

ICEYE is exploring collaboration across the Indian space and defense ecosystem, including launch capabilities, electronics and component manufacturers, and technology partners. The company’s model in every country is to build industrial capability locally, an approach that aligns with Aatmanirbhar Bharat objectives.
