HASCO hosts Technology Afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Museum

HASCO highlighted its expertise in modular standard mould units and customised hot runner systems at the HASCO Technology Afternoon held at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The event attracted a large number of visitors, including designers, mouldmakers and injection moulders, who gained first-hand insights into the company’s innovative and economical solutions.

The programme featured two specialist presentations addressing current topics in tool and mouldmaking. Stefan Reich, Key Account Engineer Hot Runner at HASCO, demonstrated how modern hot runner technology can significantly improve cost efficiency. This was followed by a presentation from Frank Minninger, Technical Sales Engineer for Southern Germany, who outlined the benefits of DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coatings in mouldmaking, highlighting their low friction, high corrosion resistance, extended service life and improved process reliability.

The Museum offered the ideal framework for a technical exchange of ideas and information as well as inspiring discussions. Accompanied by small culinary snacks, there was a pleasant atmosphere for networking and building new contacts.

A special highlight was the exclusive tour through the Mercedes Benz Museum, which offered the guests a fascinating insight into the history and development of automotive engineering. The effective combination of technical know-how, practical insights and inspiring ambience made the HASCO Technology Afternoon a highly successful event.
