HASCO Introduces Quick-Snap Hot Runner Plug Inserts for Streamlined Wiring and Assembly

Fast and efficient – the new plug inserts from HASCO hot runner

The innovative HASCO hot runner plug and socket inserts enable a drastic reduction in wiring times. By doing away with the laborious screwing steps typically involved in the wiring box, cables can now be assembled in mere seconds.

The innovative product line of the plug inserts H12292/… and socket inserts H12242/… with effective snap mechanism supplements the proven HASCO industry standard range with screw mechanism.

As with all plug inserts, the insulated cable ends must be provided in advance with cable lugs. The cable end is then pushed into the provided opening and the mechanism is activated, leading to immediate fixing of the cable. It is opened by lifting up the mechanism on the side with a flat-blade screwdriver.

The tool-free assembly enables correct wiring of the mould very easily indeed with one hand. The clampable wires cover all cable cross-sections from 0.25-2.5mm².

All the new plug inserts H12292/… and socket inserts H12242/… are compatible in terms of assembly with the previous inserts H1229, H12290, H1224 and H12240, and can simply be replaced without the need for any further measures.
