Renishaw India to Showcase Comprehensive CNC Probing and Tool Measurement Technologies at DMI 2026

NC4+ Blue F100 tool setter

At the 14th Die & Mould India International Exhibition (DMI 2026), Renishaw India will present a focused portfolio of advanced metrology and process control solutions designed to simplify shopfloor operations while enhancing precision and productivity. Through a digital interactive display (DID), visitors will experience hands-on demonstrations that highlight the role of probing, calibration, and optimisation in achieving consistent, high-quality tooling.

A key highlight at the booth will be the XM-60 multi-axis calibrator, capable of measuring all six degrees of freedom in a single set-up. By significantly reducing measurement time and enabling volumetric compensation, the system sets new standards in machine tool accuracy. Complementing this is the XL-80 laser interferometer, which delivers traceable calibration data, helping identify geometric errors and enabling effective error compensation across machine tools, motion systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).

RMP600 radio-transmission probe

Expanding its precision measurement capabilities, Renishaw will also showcase the NC4+ Blue F100 tool setter. Featuring industry-first blue laser technology in a compact, non-contact design, the system can detect tool defects as small as 5 microns, ensuring superior machining accuracy. Additionally, the RMP600 radio-transmission probe will be on display, offering reliable and flexible probing solutions for complex machining environments.

Speaking about the exhibition, Mr. Paul Weaver, Director – Sales & Marketing, Renishaw India, noted that DMI serves as a unique platform bringing together the entire tooling ecosystem—from toolmakers and OEMs to designers and moulders. He emphasized that Renishaw aims to demonstrate practical, easy-to-implement technologies that help toolrooms immediately improve accuracy and productivity.

Highlighting the broader industry outlook, he added that India’s die and mould sector is undergoing a significant shift towards smarter, process-driven manufacturing. According to him, global competitiveness will increasingly depend on integrating precision with data-driven validation, supported by skilled technicians proficient in metrology and process control. With the right adoption of technologies such as probing, machine calibration, and shopfloor gauging, Indian toolrooms are well-positioned to strengthen their reputation as reliable global partners.
