Seco Tools AB and Gebr. Heller Maschinenfabrik GmbH have formed a strategic development and technology partnership aimed at providing advanced and efficient machining solutions customized to customer requirements.

The partnership, officially established at the Seco ITI 2025 expert meeting in February, is centered on co-developing innovative machining processes, enhancing product optimization, and speeding up time-to-market. It combines Seco’s advanced tool technologies with HELLER’s CNC machines and manufacturing systems to deliver integrated, high-performance solutions.

Cross-functional teams of engineers and technical experts from both companies will collaborate closely to share knowledge, lead joint development projects, and advance innovation in machining technologies.

Customers in various industries—including automotive and aerospace—will gain from tailored, process-optimized solutions. The partnership also encompasses extensive training programs and technical support to help users maximize the combined strengths of both companies.

Stefan Steenstrup, CEO of Seco, said, “By integrating our cutting tools with HELLER’s advanced CNC systems, we’re delivering a complete solution that addresses the real-world challenges of modern manufacturing. This project-based collaboration provides significant value for customers in mechanical engineering and aerospace sectors.”

Peter Weber, CSO of HELLER, added, “Partnering with Seco allows us to take a holistic view of our customers’ machining needs. Together, we’re developing and validating innovative technologies that are both future-ready and tailored to specific manufacturing challenges.”
