CHIRON Group at EMO 2025: Shaping Next-Gen Manufacturing

A highlight at the OPEN HOUSE and at the EMO-Booth C 50 in Hall 12: the new Micro5 XL, with which the CHIRON Group has scaled its successful micro machining concept for even more demanding tasks.

The CHIRON Group will be present at EMO 2025, showcasing its expertise in both technology and consulting. Under the theme “Your Partner for Next-Generation Manufacturing,” the company will highlight its latest innovations aimed at precision, cost-efficiency, and future-ready manufacturing processes. At Booth C50 in Hall 12, the CHIRON Group will showcase its full range of solutions—through dedicated competence areas and direct conversations with on-site experts.

Live demonstrations of CHIRON machining centers will offer a hands-on experience of their precision, speed, and process reliability—particularly in demanding materials and applications.

For the first time, the CHIRON Group will present a machining center in live operation paired with customized automation. This setup offers increased autonomy for both variant and series production, all while keeping the footprint compact. A key highlight: the seamless, user-friendly control of both the machining center and the automation system, tailored for real-world production needs.

Micro5 XL – Micro Machining on a New Scale

Precision machining of a titanium bone plate – an example of the expanded application range of the Micro5 XL in medical technology.

A key highlight at the booth will be the new Micro5 XL, making its first major appearance before an international audience following its successful debut at the OPEN HOUSE. Building on the proven Micro5 concept, this machining center takes performance a step further, offering expanded capabilities for high-dynamic micro machining in sectors like medical and precision engineering, electronics, and other demanding fields. The Micro5 XL reaches jerk values of up to 900 m/s³, delivering exceptional path and machining speeds with outstanding precision.

The FZ 19 S five axis stands for quality and productivity in large batch production. Seen in live operation machining a key component for aerospace.

Another Highlight: FZ 19 S Five Axis demonstrates how power, precision, and productivity come together in 5-axis machining of high-strength materials. In a live demonstration, the single-spindle machining center will machine a key aerospace component. Designed for demanding materials, the FZ 19 S five axis features an HSK-A100 interface and delivers up to 408 Nm of spindle torque. Additional advantages include CHIRON Group motor spindles, various rotary table packages, and tool magazines that hold up to 196 tools—offering maximum customer value through application-specific configurations.

Explore Series and Technologies Digitally – in the ‘Interactive Showroom’

Alongside the live demonstrations, the ‘Interactive Showroom’ provides a comprehensive digital overview of the CHIRON Group’s technology portfolio. Making its digital debut here is the new DZ 22 W speed+—a highly dynamic version of the double-spindle 5-axis machining center, designed for efficient complete machining of large components in series production. The online showcase also features a selection of overhauled used machines and new stock machining centers from the CHIRON Group—ideal for quick, cost-effective upgrades with proven, state-of-the-art technology.

Premiering in the ‘Interactive Showroom’: the new DZ 22 W speed+ for consistent top performance and top speed complete machining of large components in series.
