The Indian tooling industry has reached a new level of capability both in scale and complexity. The mould base being exhibited at Die & Mould India International Exhibition 2026 stands as a live example of this progress.

Eqic Dies & Moulds Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is showcasing one of the largest mould bases at the exhibition, reinforcing its position in manufacturing high-tonnage, large-format tooling solutions.

Mr. Raj Singh, Co-founder and Director of the EQIC Group of Companies, highlights that the company operates across automotive, railways, aerospace, and solar sectors, backed by strong expertise in die making, aluminium component production, and pressure die casting.

The highlight on display is a massive transmission case mould base. With a raw material weight of up to 60 tonnes and a dispatch weight of approximately 45 tonnes, the mould base demonstrates the company’s capability to handle large-scale, high-precision projects.

What sets this achievement apart is not just the size but the ecosystem it supports. Eqic caters to major OEMs, Indian tool rooms, and international customers, positioning itself as a reliable partner for complex and demanding tooling requirements.

When the customer initially explored options within India, no other manufacturer was able to undertake the project. This further underlines Eqic’s advanced infrastructure and engineering depth. By bringing this mould base to the exhibition, the company leverages the platform provided by TAGMA to offer a real, tangible perspective of its capabilities, where scale, precision, and execution come together.

The exhibit ultimately reflects a broader shift: Indian tooling is no longer limited by size or complexity but is steadily emerging as a global benchmark for large-scale, high-performance manufacturing solutions.
