L&T Semiconductor Technologies Limited (LTSCT) and Tata Electronics have announced a strategic partnership to expand indigenous manufacturing of chip products in India for global customers.
The partnership will combine L&T Semiconductor’s fabless chip design capabilities with Tata Electronics’ semiconductor packaging and foundry capabilities. The companies will jointly explore fabrication and packaging opportunities for L&T Semiconductor’s current and future products across Tata Electronics’ range of fab process technologies and packaging solutions.
The collaboration will also focus on optimising chip designs for fabrication and efficient manufacturing at scale. The companies aim to develop indigenous design and manufacturing capabilities for next-generation products across automotive, industrial, communications, security and intelligent-edge applications.
