Cimatron to Showcase Integrated CAD/CAM Solutions for Tooling at DMI 2026

Reinforcing the growing importance of integrated digital solutions in tooling, Cimatron is set to showcase its advanced CAD/CAM technologies at the 14th Die & Mould India International Exhibition (DMI 2026), scheduled from April 21–24 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. As the industry increasingly shifts toward collaboration and end-to-end integration, platforms like DMI are playing a crucial role in bringing together machine tools, cutting tools, and software solutions to enable seamless manufacturing workflows.

With global manufacturing dynamics driving interest toward India, the exhibition highlights the country’s capabilities in precision tooling, digital maturity, and cost competitiveness. For technology providers, it serves as a key platform to demonstrate how integrated solutions can enhance productivity, reduce lead times, and support faster time-to-market for complex tooling applications.

Amol Mane, Director – Sales & Marketing, Asia at Cimatron, highlighted the company’s technology focus, stating that “Cimatron Die provides a specialized, integrated solution for progressive, transfer, and line die design, enabling faster development with high accuracy and consistency,” adding that it “streamlines die design and manufacturing processes through automation, associative updates, and manufacturing-ready outputs, reducing lead times and design errors,” while noting that “Cimatron Mold provides an end-to-end, integrated solution for mold design, enabling faster development from concept to manufacturing with minimal errors,” and further emphasising that “our integrated CAD/CAM solution is dedicated to mold and die making, helping toolmakers produce high quality molds and dies of any size and complexity in record time.”

He further elaborated on the extended capabilities, stating that “Cimatron Electrode offers a fully integrated solution for automated electrode design and manufacturing, tightly linked to mold geometry and machining workflows,” helping to “reduce EDM preparation time, minimize errors, and ensure high accuracy through associativity, standardization, and seamless NC programming,” while adding that “Cimatron NC Programming delivers fully integrated CAD/CAM capabilities for efficient, high-precision CNC machining with faster programming, optimized toolpaths, and reliable machining through advanced automation and simulation,” and highlighting that “DMI has significantly strengthened collaboration within the tooling ecosystem by shifting focus from individual brand showcasing to building partnerships across the value chain,” noting that “the exhibition enables effective collaboration and serves as a platform for networking, technical exchange, and reinforcing the industry’s collective growth while showcasing India’s strengths to global customers.”

With its participation at DMI 2026, Cimatron continues to support the tooling industry’s transition toward integrated, collaborative, and digitally driven manufacturing.
