The Advait Energy Transitions MEIL partnership was formalised on 3 August 2026. Advait Energy Transitions Ltd (AETL) and Manipal Energy Infratech Ltd (MEIL) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly pursue power and energy transition opportunities in India and international markets. The partnership combines Advait Energy Transitions’ expertise in advanced energy technologies with MEIL’s engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) execution capabilities to deliver integrated infrastructure projects across clean energy sectors.
Where the Advait Energy Transitions MEIL Partnership Will Focus
The collaboration will focus on power transmission and distribution, renewable energy, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), green hydrogen, electrolysers, High-Temperature Low-Sag (HTLS) conductors, Optical Ground Wire (OPGW), Emergency Restoration Systems (ERS) and advanced EPC solutions. The two companies aim to develop resilient and sustainable energy infrastructure through the partnership.
Who Contributes What

Under the agreement, Advait Energy Transitions will support MEIL in identifying and executing projects in emerging sectors including BESS, green hydrogen, electrolysers, fuel cells and solar EPC. MEIL will, in turn, support Advait in strengthening its technical capabilities, business presence and project execution across underground cabling, substations, and transmission and distribution infrastructure.
The companies will jointly evaluate new business opportunities and define project responsibilities to undertake larger domestic and international projects while enhancing project delivery capabilities and qualification credentials.
What the Companies Say
Commenting on the collaboration, Shalin Sheth, Founder & Managing Director, Advait Energy Transitions Limited, said, “India’s power and energy sectors are evolving rapidly, creating opportunities that increasingly require multidisciplinary expertise and strong execution capabilities. This collaboration brings together complementary strengths that will enable both organisations to pursue larger and more integrated opportunities across power infrastructure and clean energy. We look forward to working closely with MEIL to deliver solutions that support the country’s long-term energy transition.”
Why It Matters for India Energy Infrastructure
The partnership is expected to create long-term value by combining the technical expertise, resources and market presence of both organisations while supporting the growth of power transmission, renewable energy, energy storage and other emerging energy transition sectors.
MEIL is part of The Manipal Group. For both companies, the value of the tie-up lies less in any single contract than in qualification: joint credentials let each bid for larger integrated projects than either could pursue alone, in a market where transmission, storage and hydrogen scopes are increasingly bundled into one tender.
