Partnership brings precision tool holding and tool measurement together for Indian manufacturers

REGO-FIX India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Switzerland-based REGO-FIX, has partnered with Omega TMM to offer tool presetter machines and tool management solutions to manufacturers across India.

Under the agreement, REGO-FIX India will be the exclusive partner for Omega TMM’s tool presetter machines and tool management solutions in the country. The partnership will give Indian manufacturers access to Omega TMM’s tool measurement and presetting technology, supported by technical guidance from REGO-FIX India.

The companies said the combination of precision tool holding and accurate tool presetting is aimed at helping manufacturers improve tool-setting accuracy, consistency and process control, while reducing unnecessary machine downtime.

“This partnership lets us offer something truly complete, precise tool holding paired with accurate tool presetting,” said Makarand Dande, Managing Director, REGO-FIX India Pvt Ltd. “By bringing Omega TMM’s presetter technology into India through this exclusive partnership, we are helping manufacturers set up tools more accurately, get more consistent results, cut down unnecessary downtime, and gain better control over their processes.”

“This collaboration represents an exciting milestone for Omega TMM and our customers. By partnering with REGO-FIX India, we can offer customers access to industry-leading tool measuring solutions that improve accuracy, reliability and productivity while supporting their growth objectives,” said Ryan Meleg, Executive VP, Global Sales and Product Development, Omega TMM.

Access to advanced technology

For India’s machining community, the partnership could make advanced tool measurement and presetting technology more accessible. Better tool measurement and preparation can help manufacturers improve machining accuracy, consistency and productivity, particularly as manufacturers increasingly look to optimise processes and reduce machine downtime.

The collaboration also brings together two complementary areas of machining. While REGO-FIX provides expertise in precision tool holding, Omega TMM brings tool measurement and presetting capabilities. Together, the companies aim to provide manufacturers with a more integrated approach to tool preparation.

India’s growing manufacturing opportunity

The partnership also reflects the increasing importance of India as a manufacturing market. As Indian manufacturers move towards higher-precision production and become more integrated with global supply chains, demand is growing for advanced machining technologies and process capabilities.

For overseas technology companies, this growing manufacturing base is creating opportunities to enter the Indian market through local partnerships. Such collaborations can provide international technology providers with an established local presence and technical support network, while giving Indian manufacturers greater access to global technologies.

Commenting on the partnership, Pascal Forrer, CEO, REGO-FIX Group, “We are excited about this partnership with Omega TMM as we continue to strengthen our presence in the Indian manufacturing market. This partnership adds an important capability to our offering by combining our expertise in precision tool holding with Omega TMM’s capabilities in tool measurement and presetting. We see strong potential to create practical value for manufacturers across India.”

Good preparation makes for better machining and that’s exactly what this partnership is about. Catch REGO-FIX and Omega TMM at their booths at IMTS 2026 in Chicago next week to see it all in action.
